The Texas Association of Dairymen (TAD) has been the
advocate and unified voice for the dairy industry in
Texas since 1991.
TAD works for the interest and benefit of
Texas´ dairy farmers on issues including the
environment, animal
welfare, food safety and regulatory policies that
impact agriculture producers, including tax policy
and land and water usage.
TAD advocates on the industry´s behalf with
the Texas Legislature and other governmental and
regulatory bodies. It maintains a proactive and
aggressive legislative and political agenda.
Members of TAD include dairy cooperatives whose members actively produce milk from dairy cows in the state of Texas.
TAD is a non-profit corporation governed by a 14-member Board of Directors. |
